“Final form” is a snippet resulting from the guided exploration of particle simulation effects on an existing hero animation in Houdini FX. It utilizes various forms of particle control systems unified to produce an impactful CG short of a hero powering up.

Bankai!
BANKAI
“Bankai” from the popular anime Bleach, is another exploration of particle effects in Houdini. Using an existing character animation, particle simulations are used as a base to drive smoke and fire simulations, to deliver the energy beam. The ground destruction then adds a layer of realism to the shot.
