Manush Koshy is a Los Angeles–based FX artist and CG generalist with a strong focus on crafting bold and imaginative special effects. His time at SCI-Arc’s Fiction & Entertainment program, and background in architecture has shaped the way he approaches FX, infusing his simulations with a sense of rhythm, scale, and intention that makes them both visually striking and narratively impactful.

While his emphasis lies in FX, he also has the ability to design and assemble environments that heighten the presentation of these effects. This dual approach ensures that his work not only captures attention through spectacle, but also integrates seamlessly into the larger flow of visual storytelling.

Proficient in Houdini, Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine, he combines technical mastery with an artistic sensibility that continues to evolve through practice and exploration. He thrives in collaborative settings where ideas and skills converge, and sees each project as an opportunity to push creative boundaries, refine his craft, and discover new ways to bring imagination to life.
